Gaia
Gaia is a rug collection inspired by plants and natural elements, whose simplified forms are translated into compositions that combine elegance, visual rhythm, and a connection to the natural world.
Inspirations
Tropical leaves, natural textures, and botanical structures served as the starting point for the pattern development, drawing inspiration from the Monstera deliciosa, snake plant, orchids, and banana plant.
Designers
The collection was created through a collaboration between Dafheny Pacheco and Marcela Pucinelli for Moriah Tapetes. Working together, the designers combined their creative perspectives to develop a collection that balances aesthetics, concept, and meticulous attention to detail.
The rugs
To present the collection in a real and immersive context, an editorial photoshoot was produced, exploring the relationship between the body, the space, and the object. The imagery highlights how each rug integrates naturally into its surroundings and everyday living.
